Public Opinion Survey Results

Residents taking the phone survey were asked an open-ended question: "What do you think are the 5 most important things that define a strong, healthy community." Their top-of-mind responses are listed below to show what came to their minds most frequently.

Respondents to the online and paper surveys had the printed list of options below from which to select indicators of a "strong, healthy community".

Our community vision and priorities were developed by comparing data in current local reports and assessments on actual conditions to the most frequent public responses defining a strong healthy community.

The relatively high response rate to "active civic engagement" as an important indicator of a "strong, healthy community" reinforces implementation of broad-based community Solution Teams moving forward.
